Welcome to Mrs. Chrislip’s Health Class


Each student will receive a ½ high school credit after completion and passing of this class.


The student will learn to…

  1. Obtain, interpret, and understand basic health information and services using such information and services in ways that are health enhancing.
  2. Understand preventative physical and mental health measures, including proper diet, exercise, risk avoidance, and stress reduction.
  3. Use available information to make appropriate health-related decisions.
  4. Establish and monitor personal and family health goals.
  5. Understand national and international public health and safety issues.

Homework will not be given unless work is not completed in class.  Bell Ringers, Tests, Projects, and Work Ethics Grades will make up each nine weeks grade.

You will need a BINDER (can be combined with another class), loose-leaf paper, blue or black pen or a pencil. 

In case of an absence, all assignments/handouts will have the student’s name and will be in the make-up file located in the front of the room.  Assignments will also be posted on google classroom.   It is the STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY to get assignments missed and to turn in promptly.
